Couple questions - I set up a user in the Daemon Configuration section, but I don't see anyplace to set up their access levels...

Also, what is Passive mode and Declawed mode?

Re: Wolfcon Server Admin Tool

Currently there are no user permissions yet, everyone will have the same permission until this around end of this week where I will be rolling out the Hashed Login / Permissions.

For now everyone has maxed permissions during my inital test.

Passive Mode - When wolfcon reduce active server query by 90% to only vital functions, and listening, it helps to reduce server rcon caused lag to none(before patch), also for users with less than perfect internet connection.

Declawed Mode - Removes the ability for wolfcon to kick or kill players, its more like safe mode when you are suspecting an rcon client has gone rogue and started kick or kill player when it is not supposed to, you can use this feature to isolate which rcon client is responsible without turning everything off.

Re: Wolfcon Server Admin Tool

So we just add -daemon to the startup shorcut to start in daemon mode then?

Do clients use wolfspawn to connect, or this release?

Clients use Wolfcon to connect. I was able to run Wolfcon on my dedicated servers without any special startup parameters and connect to it in a client/daemon setup.

Re: Wolfcon Server Admin Tool

I have enabled Daemon mode, and created the wolfspawn users as per our old 1.195 setup, so they use this client to connect in the same way then i guess?

you don't need to use -daemon to for startup, you just need to enable wolfspawn on extension menu. -daemon parameter just stops all major interface functions to save memory.

Re: Wolfcon Server Admin Tool

looks very good.. will there be a user friendly guide out so we know exactly how to input everything where it needs to go without haveing to play the "search the forum for answers game" would be cool to have a area that deal with exactly how to, and what to, put in all the areas, like kill messages for example, kill messages work.. thats about it.. assuming im messing that up somehow.. without a guide to what i may or may not enter in there im just shooting in the dark.. no rush, cant wait to start using it, just dont like the shooting in the dark part of trying to get things to work, thanks for you hard work tho, great ass job!
